*** If your student is experiencing ANY symptoms of COVID-19, or does not feel well, PLEASE keep them home!  We understand this can be an inconvenience; however, teachers will make sure that your student is not left behind academically, and it is what is most safe for our entire Pottenger Family.

Monday, August 30, 2021:
- Due to the fast spread of the Delta variant of COVID-19, ALL students and staff are required to wear a mask INSIDE of the school building whether vaccinated or not.  Quick mask breaks will be provided twice a day for students.  Students and staff do NOT need to wear masks OUTSIDE of the building as long as they stay 6 feet apart.

- Springfield Public Schools are giving FREE COVID TESTING to staff and students who sign up.  THIS IS NOT THE VACCINE! :)  This is a cotton swab around the inside of the nose which is quickly tested to detect the vaccine. Testing will be done regularly throughout each month to make sure that everyone who signs up is clear of the virus.  To sign your student up for free testing, ask your teacher or call our amazing nurse, Nurse Robin Sell.
